ESPC says majority of marketers have adopted e-mail authentication protocols

York, Maine—The Email Service Provider Coalition Wednesday released the results of an industry survey that demonstrates strong adoption of e-mail authentication protocols by major marketers. More than 70% of Fortune 100 companies use at least one authentication protocol on outbound e-mail, the survey found. “These results are testament that authentication is a key component in the fight against spam,” said J. Trevor Hughes, executive director of the ESPC, in a statement.
