New York—EXelate, a company providing audience targeting data to publishers and marketers, announced a collaboration with comScore, which will validate eXelate's demographic-related data segments against comScore's U.S. panel. As part of the collaboration, comScore used cookie matching to identify instances where multiple users are accessing the same computer. EXelate said the results validated the accuracy of its audience composition and demographic data segments. “By working with comScore, the undisputed leader in online audience panels, eXelate becomes the first data marketplace provider of targeting data to open our audience segments to an external audit,” Mark S. Zagorski, eXelate CEO, said in a statement.
