Facebook tests Stories to Share feature for media websites

Menlo Park, Calif.—Facebook announced that it is testing a new feature called Stories to Share that will help media brands select content to post on Facebook. On the Facebook+Media page on Facebook, Justin Osofsky, VP-media partnerships and global operations, wrote that the person using the Admin Panel for a media brand's Facebook page will receive suggestions of stories that have already been posted to the publisher's website that could be also be posted to the brand's Facebook page. Although Osofsky did not explain how Facebook will determine which stories would be suggested, he wrote that administrators will be able to “easily post any of those suggestions to their page directly from their Insights Dashboard in their admin panel.” The feature is only available to a limited number of publishers during the test period, Osofsky wrote.
