Forrester Research reports 21% jump in second-quarter revenue

Cambridge, Mass.--Technology research firm Forrester Research Inc. reported second-quarter 2001 revenue of $46.4 million, a 21% jump from $38.3 million in the year-earlier period. Net income for second quarter rose 17% to $5.7 million, from $4.9 million a year earlier. Forrester's outlook is less robust. It recently said it expects third-quarter revenue of $37 to $39 million. It recently announced plans to cut 111 jobs, or 15% of its work force.
