GCN Publishing, Fry Communications partner to offer technology to city/regional publications

Norwalk, Conn.—GCN Publishing announced a partnership with Fry Communications to offer Web technology geared specifically for city and regional publications.

The technology is intended to allow publishers to create revenue-generating city/regional Web sites. It includes a suite of tools for sales lead tracking and delivery; subscription and registration; and e-newsletter distribution. Also included are a video library module and such rich Web site functional modules as restaurant guides, blogs, reviews, event guides, city guides and a topical channel search engine.
