Google upgrades analytics functions

Mountain View, Calif.—Google has unveiled a major upgrade to its Google Analytics product, including new services and an integration into Google’s ad serving program AdSense. The new features are aimed at corporate marketers at large companies.

The upgrades include more than 80 preconfigured reports, depending on which options, such as e-commerce and goals, are turned on. And rather than simply looking at all traffic coming into a Web site, users can view the clicks that came in through search ads from Google AdWords.

The integration with Google’s AdSense lets users see which pages of their site are driving the most revenue from AdSense ads, while helping determine what content people like and which referring sources are driving the most revenue.
