The catalog is designed as a leave-behind for customers and a selling tool for Grainger account managers and customer-facing employees. The catalog will not be mailed, but Grainger will promote the expanded plumbing line in its direct mail.
“There will be some enhanced messaging re plumbing that we’ll incorporate with our direct mail communications,” said Steve Dahl, category manager, pumps and plumbing at Grainger. He added, “This fits with our strategy and helps customers consolidate their purchases.”
