King of Prussia, Pa.—GSI Commerce, a provider of e-commerce and interactive marketing services, has bought ClearSaleing Inc., an ad analytics company that measures the performance of online campaigns. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
GSI's own digital agency, TrueAction, has been a user of ClearSaleing's ad-performance solutions for its clients. GSI said ClearSaleing, based in Columbus, Ohio, has more than 100 advertiser customers representing over $400 million in annual digital media spending. ClearSaleing customers include American Greetings Corp. and Nationwide Insurance.
