New York—Hearst Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire 85% of Homecare Homebase, a provider of software-as-a-service reporting, information-exchange and work-flow automation solutions for the homecare and hospice market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Homecare Homebase will become part of Hearst's healthcare group, led by Richard P. Malloch, president of Hearst Business Media. Homecare Homebase CEO April Anthony will continue in her current position after completion of the transaction, which is expected to close by the end of the year, Hearst Corp. said in a statement.
