Chicago—Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles announced the formation of a Chief Advisor Network, a new practice that will focus on helping companies find senior talent to fill short-term C-level positions.

The Chief Advisor Network will include a select group of experienced C-suite and senior executives who can be brought in to help companies through transition periods.

“Companies are beginning to rethink how business gets done in this difficult economic environment,” said Lauren Doliva, a partner at Heidrick & Struggles. “As the reset button is pushed, we are seeing more clients in need of immediate access to top talent who can step into short-term situations and solve problems quickly or provide operating insights and advice.”
