Hensley Segal Rentschler forms new holding company, plans major expansion

Cincinnati--Hensley Segal Rentschler announced Monday it is forming a new holding company, called HSR Business-to-Business, to fuel expansion of the agency through mergers, acquisitions, national promotion and the infusion of new capital. Rick Segal, managing director of Hensley Segal Rentschler, will take the new position of chairman-CEO of the holding company. Over the next five years, HSR plans for $12.6 million in capital reinvestment and the hiring of as many as 100 new employees. The company is angling to become a premier provider of b-to-b brand strategies, Web design and traditional integrated marketing services across the country. Mr. Segal says the agency has grown at a 50% annual rate since 1994. HSR's clients include divisions of General Electric Co. and Xerox Corp.
