New York—Hill+Knowlton Strategies, a subsidiary of WPP, has acquired Group SJR, a digital marketing communications company with clients including Dell Inc., General Electric Co., the Motion Picture Association of America, TED Conferences and Xerox Corp. The investment continues WPP's strategy of strengthening its capabilities in digital media and content development that goes beyond traditional public relations and public affairs, the company said in a statement. WPP reported that Group SJR's unaudited revenue for the year ended May 31 was $13.6 million. Alexander Jutkowitz, Group SJR managing partner, is taking the additional title of vice chairman and chief global strategist at H+K Strategies. Jordan, Edmiston Group represented Group SJR in the transaction.
