HiveFire study finds creating new content is a challenge for marketers

Cambridge, Mass.—More than one-quarter (26%) of b-to-b marketers say delivering new content on a regular basis is their biggest marketing challenge, according to a study by HiveFire, an online content marketing technology company.

The study was based on an online survey of more than 100 b-to-b marketers, conducted in the third quarter.

It found that 44% of marketers surveyed do not have a corporate blog and, of those that do, only 10% publish new content daily there.

About one-third (30%) publish new blog content on a less-than monthly basis.

Overall, 70% of b-to-b marketers have incorporated some kind of social media into their marketing strategy, such as social networks Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
