Brussels—The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Europe announced its merger with the European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA), creating a single European trade association for online advertising. The merged group will continue to be called IAB Europe, with more than 41 corporate members and 27 national IAB chapters. The group will be led by Alain Heureux, president-CEO of IAB Europe. Alison Fennah, previously executive director of the EIAA, will become VP-research and marketing for IAB Europe. The group said its mission is to promote, protect and prove the value of digital advertising in Europe.
