IAB becomes Interactive Advertising Bureau, opens membership

New York--In a move to reflect its changing membership, the Internet Advertising Bureau said it has changed its name to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and has opened its membership to all companies that sell interactive advertising and marketing. The association also said it is eliminating its associate and affiliate membership categories, which include companies that do not sell interactive advertising. The IAB said the move is designed to focus on one goal: to promote the value of interactive advertising and marketing. The IAB also voted Robin Webster president-CEO at its board meeting last week.
