IAB releases mobile guidelines

New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau released the final version of its “Mobile Rich Media Ad Interface Definitions,” designed to provide guidelines for mobile marketing. The recommendations define a common application programming interface for mobile rich media ads to help advertisers, agencies and publishers achieve consistency and effectiveness with mobile advertising, according to IAB. The guidelines were developed by the Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence, a unit of IAB charged with driving the growth of mobile marketing.
