IBM unveils ‘TheSmarterCity’ experience at JFK airport

New York—IBM Corp. on Wednesday unveiled a digital out-of-home interactive ad called “TheSmarterCity experience” at JFK International Airport.

The 8-by-12-foot interactive display combines audio, video and a text-to-mobile feature to demonstrate how IBM is helping to improve key systems such as energy, transportation and health care.

Ogilvy & Mather, New York, created the ad campaign. It is part of IBM’s overall “Smarter Planet” initiative, which launched in November 2008.
