Kevin Kerner, in his B-to-B Labs blog, is seeing lots of examples lately of infographics, fancy diagrams and images designed to represent differences in marketing trends and numbers in less-than-obvious ways. Kerner, managing director-U.S. with agency Mason Zimbler, Austin, Texas, a division of direct-marketing company Harte-Hanks, says infographics can be useful and fun to construct, but they also can be, well, a little scary when they go too far.
