InformationWeek expands number of digital issues

San Francisco—TechWeb's InformationWeek said Wednesday that it is increasing the publication's number of digital issues.

This year, 12 of InformationWeek's 36 issues will be available only as digital editions. Last year, it produced four issues that were available only in digital format.

The move saves paper, printing and postage costs. InformationWeek has also said it helps reduce its “carbon footprint.” In addition to the digital issues, InformationWeek has invested with nonprofit organizations committed to restoring forests and donated almost 20,000 trees to American Forests last year.
