Campaign: Turning Up the Volume: Boosting Intel Health IT Blog Views 1,200 Percent Intel believes itself to be a thought leader in healthcare information technology, but it struggled to forge a connection with the healthcare pros it needed to reach. The company launched the Intel Healthcare IT community to showcase its expertise through blog posts written by experts from inside and outside the company. The blog tackles such weighty topics as privacy, security and accountable care, as well as technology themes like cloud computing and mobility. Multiple media are employed, and business partners helped amplify the blog's content. Intel hoped to see a 50% boost in blog reads last year. The actual increase was 1,200%. Community membership grew from 6,000 to 8,200, and an associated Twitter account has attracted more than 4,200 followers. All of which proves that reports of the death of corporate blogging are somewhat exaggerated.
