J.P. Morgan, Zurich Financial, others invest $244M in S1

New York-based J.P. Morgan & Co., Zurich-based Zurich Financial Services Group and three other companies have taken a $244 million equity stake in Atlanta-based S1 Corp., one of the premier financial software vendors. The deal comes after S1 recently signed a broad marketing pact with IBM Corp. Other investors include State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co., FleetBoston Financial Corp. and Allianz AG.
