Jupiter: 76% of marketers say search more effective than banner advertising

New York--Seventy-six percent of marketing executives ranked search engine marketing as more effective than banner advertising, according to a new report from Jupiter Research. The report also found that 64% of marketers plan to increase their spending on search engine marketing. Separately, Jupiter is launching a new service called Online Search, which will help businesses optimize their search marketing tactics and spending within their overall media mix.
