New York—Kantar Video, a research and insights division within agency WPP Group, has introduced the beta release of its Videolytics platform, a real-time online and mobile video syndication, tracking and optimization technology for advertisers, agencies and publishers.

Videolytics features include proprietary “fingerprinting technology” to track instances of online video, no matter where or how they are distributed, as well as links to Kantar online access panels for audience profiling.

Kantar said it is integrating Videolytics with third-party services. The first, Echo Video, created with market analytics companies Cymfony and Compete Inc., combines Videolytics with behavioral and sentiment tracking to provide analysis of viral video impact and returns, according to the company.
