Knowledge Networks signs pact with Microsoft

Menlo Park, Calif.--Knowledge Networks Inc., an online market research provider, has signed an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to extend its relationship with MSN TV to conduct Web-based research into Internet and multimedia usage. Under the agreement, Knowledge Networks will use random digit dial sampling methodology to create a panel of users for research. Those users without Internet access will be provided with MSN TV interactive units, allowing them to access Knowledge Networks' Web-based weekly surveys on media usage.
