Link to step down as MPA CEO

New York—Nina Link will step down as president-CEO of MPA at the end of the year. She has been in this role for 13 years, longer than any leader in the history of the organization. “The fact that almost every major consumer magazine publishing company in the United States is an MPA member and that the organization remains fiscally sound, especially after the recent recession, speaks to Nina's exceptional skills as a manager and a unifying force in a competitive industry with so many disparate interests,” said Michael Clinton, chairman of the board of MPA, and president-marketing and publishing director at Hearst Magazines, in a statement. MPA said it has retained Blinkhorn, an executive recruiting firm, to search for a successor.
