LinkedIn overhauls group discussion pages

San Francisco—LinkedIn Corp. has redesigned its group pages with a new streamlined look intended to give group managers the ability to customize and visually differentiate their conversation spaces. The redesign, which brings the look of group pages in line with previously redesigned profile and company pages, includes oversized images at the top of the update stream, a “top influencers” column, a link to see all group members and a snapshot of the latest activity, LinkedIn said on its blog. The company said the redesigned groups pages will initially be rolled out to English-speaking members before being expanded to speakers of other languages.
