Mountain View, Calif.—LinkedIn Corp. has launched Pulse, a news aggregation feature that replaces its LinkedIn Today. Pulse enables users to share, comment on and “like” stories, actions that then appear in the user's profile. Pulse also permits the display of a user's professional interests and the people they follow, according to a report in Mashable. The Pulse technology, which LinkedIn acquired in April, also shows influencer blog posts and publisher content that people follow on LinkedIn. In addition to Pulse's availability on the desktop version of LinkedIn, the app is available for both Apple iOS and Google Android mobile devices, LinkedIn said in a statement.
