Logistix signs on global marketing chief

Fremont, Calif.--Logistix, a supplier of b-to-b electronic-commerce programs and chain management, has tapped Peter Katz as its VP-worldwide marketing. Previously, Mr. Katz was VP-marketing at Silicon Valley Networks, Santa Clara, Calif. An Internet vet who also has held executive positions with Wells Fargo Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers, he will head global marketing of Logistix's software and e-commerce products. Logistix's b-to-b customers include Microsoft Corp. and IBM Corp.
