Lowe’s selects BBDO

Mooresville, N.C.—Lowe’s Cos. has selected BBDO New York to serve as its lead agency overseeing creative development and production of broadcast and print advertising.

OMD, BBDO’s sister company in the Omnicom Group, will handle media planning and buying.

Lowe’s is a $36.5 billion home improvement retailer.

The account is the third major win in the past month for BBDO, which was named agency of record for Bank of America and was awarded the Motorola ROKR account.
