New magazine to focus on future of wireless

San Diego--Taking on one of the most promising, yet sluggish technologies, Wireless Inc. announced Tuesday that it will launch online publication Wireless Future Magazine in March 2002. The announcement was made at this week's CMDA Americas Congress at the San Diego Convention Center. With a target audience of wireless industry professionals, WFM will be a full-length publication that can be read online, printed in a printer-friendly format or downloaded. The publication will examine wireless technology services that may become commercially available from three years in the future to as far as can be imagined. Feature articles, analysis, industry forecasts, opinions and other editorial in WFM will describe the development of possible network, service, device, software, component, content, connection, application and other scenarios available through current, emerging and speculative technology. The magazine is currently seeking charter subscribers for the launch issue.
