Major online advertisers increasing spending

Milpitas, Calif.--Major online advertisers have increased their spending on Internet advertising this year, according to a new report from research company Nielsen//NetRatings. According to Nielsen//NetRatings, business and consumer services led online advertising, with an increase of $100 million in the first quarter of 2003 over the same period a year earlier. Other big online spenders are automotive, drug/remedies and travel, hotels and resorts.
