Marketers expect growth in rich media advertising

New York—Two-thirds of marketers polled during the ad:tech conference in New York earlier this month said they expect spending on rich media ads to surpass that on standard banner ads next year, according to online advertising company Adform. Adform conducted 103 face-to-face interviews with marketers attending ad:tech New York Nov. 7-8. According to the research, 48% of marketers said better integration of online display advertising with mobile will be the lead driver for increased spending on online display marketing next year. Other factors that will drive increased investment in display ads next year are a better rich media measurement (17%); integration with social media (13%); and online video (7%).
