Writing in the Marketing Interactions blog, Ardath Albee provides some terrific advice about how marketing departments can give their sales counterparts useful collateral materials. She writes: "Because each buyer is different, it's imperative that marketing doesn't focus on one-size-fits-all content, but develops content that addresses the various problems, challenges and issues their customers face." Albee next suggests marketing think "[in] small pieces that sales can combine seamlessly into any array they need to personalize" and provides some examples of this tactic.
