Matchbin acquires Navteq group; forms media tech unit

Salt Lake City—Digital publishing company Matchbin Inc. has acquired the radio and TV ad group of geolocation data company Navteq. The acquisition will be used to form a new media services company called Radiate Media. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. While Navteq is best known for its mapping services, the media solutions unit bought by Matchbin offers content and ad solutions for broadcast TV and radio. Radiate Media will continue to offer those services, adding content management solutions and digital couponing for media partners.
