Right Media introduces safeguard against viruses in online advertising

New York—Right Media, creator of the Right Media Exchange, has launched Media Guard, a system to protect online publishers from harmful and misclassified content embedded in advertisements. The system has been designed to block advertisements that contain viruses and other software intrusions. During its initial test phase in July, Media Guard scanned more than 50,000 ad creatives 5 million times worldwide and discovered 17 different types of hidden viruses.
