Mediabrands unveils Cadreon, new ad network

New York—Mediabrands, a unit of IPG, announced Sunday the official launch of Cadreon, an ad network that has been in beta testing for nine months.

The company said Cadreon, which includes digital display, online video and mobile platforms, allows marketers to “buy audience, not inventory.” Mediabrands said Cadreon is different from traditional ad networks in using “client-specific audience segmentation to define and profile high value audiences.”
