Merkle realigns, shortens name

Lanham, Md.—Merkle Direct Marketing, a $78 million database marketing agency, Tuesday announced it has restructured into three business divisions to focus on its consumer, financial services and nonprofit fund-raising clients. The agency also shortened its name to Merkle Inc. The new Financial Services unit is being led by Senior VPs Tim Berry and Patrick Hennessy, who were promoted from VPs.
