New Mountain Media buys ‘Business Ethics’

New York—New Mountain Media announced this week that it has purchased Business Ethics magazine from Mavis Publications. New Mountain Media said it plans to revamp the publication, which was founded in 1987 and covers the subjects of business ethics, corporate social responsibility and socially responsible investing. New Mountain said it will extend the Business Ethics brand into conferences and newsletters and onto the Internet. Former owner Marjorie Kelly will remain editor of the magazine, while Michael Connor, owner of New Mountain Media, will become publisher-executive editor. The quarterly publication is distributed to about 10,000 readers.
