'New York Times' picks Gillis as VP-advertising

Kerrie Gillis has been named VP-advertising at The New York Times. In this role, she will oversee the print and digital advertising categories of advocacy, classified advertising, corporate, help wanted, sports marketing, telesales and the International Herald Tribune. Gillis was previously advertising director-corporate for the Times and advertising director for the Americas for the IHT.
