NASCAR selects Ogilvy as AOR

Daytona Beach, Fla.—NASCAR announced it has selected Ogilvy & Mather, New York, as its advertising agency of record, following a review. Ogilvy will be responsible for advertising, brand vision, audience targeting, media strategy, promotions and online support. Other finalists were Leo Burnett, Chicago, and McCann Erickson North America, New York. Billings were not disclosed. Jump Co., St. Louis, was the previous agency.
