NewBay, Outsell partner to create TV industry executive councils

New York–B-to-b publisher NewBay Media and media/business information consultancy Outsell announced they have partnered to create Outsell TV peer-to-peer executive councils for the television industry. The councils are currently being developed, with initial meetings expected in early 2014. These paid-membership, invitation-only councils—designed for CEOs, COOs, presidents and division heads—are comprised of executives from different market segments who are not direct competitors, but who face similar challenges. A top Outsell executive with knowledge of the television industry will facilitate each council, and Outsell TV members will have access to exclusive research and analysts. “There is no substitute for peer-level advice from leaders who are experiencing similar challenges as you, but from different perspectives,” said Steve Palm, CEO of NewBay Media, in a statement. Within the television/video vertical, NewBay publishes Broadcasting & Cable, Multichannel News and Next TV, and produces such events as the B&C Hall of Fame, the Hispanic Summit and the Fast Turnaround TV conference.
