Nielsen expands online campaign ratings initiative

New York—Nielsen Co. announced it has partnered with 15 ad platform companies to expand its online campaign ratings initiative, which launched last year. Under the program, ad platform companies agree to integrate Nielsen's campaign rating system into their ad operations through an application programming interface, providing audience reach data to help advertisers better target their online advertising. Companies participating in the program include AudienceScience, DataXu, VideoHub and Vindico.
