Nonspot radio revenue up 12% in first half, but overall revenue is flat

New York—Nonspot radio ad revenue rose 12% in the first half of the year compared with the same period in 2006, according to a report released last week by the Radio Advertising Bureau. Despite the nonspot growth, overall radio ad revenue was flat in the first half. Local radio ad revenue fell 1%, while national radio ad revenue dropped 2%. Network ad revenue grew 12%.
