Ogilvy poised to win CDW account

Chicago—Ogilvy & Mather Chicago is poised to win CDW’s consolidated advertising and marketing services account, according to a report in Advertising Age, a BtoB sibling publication.

Ogilvy will handle creative, media, direct, digital, PR and promotional efforts for CDW, according to the Ad Age report.

CDW spent an estimated $88 million in measured media last year, based on data from TNS Media Intelligence.

Executives at CDW and Ogilvy declined to comment.

“We hope to make a final decision and announce it soon, but at the moment we can only say that we are conducting an ongoing review,” said Clark Walter, a CDW spokesman.
