Omniture SiteCatalyst integrates Twitter brand-monitoring data

Orem, Utah—Online marketing and Web analytics company Omniture has added a new feature to its flagship SiteCatalyst product that measures brand activity on the microblogging site Twitter.

The new capability allows marketers to import Twitter data into SiteCatalyst to determine who is talking about their brands, giving them a deeper view into the expanding influence of online business and customer sentiment.

According to Forrester Research, some 5 million people use Twitter, which allows users to send frequent short updates to others.
