New York—It didn’t take Tom Kemp long to find a new job. The former Penton Media CEO has been hired by media merchant bank Veronis Suhler Stevenson as a managing director.

Kemp was replaced at Penton on July 1 by David Nussbaum.

“We are confident that [Kemp] will be instrumental to the future success of our firm and its significant business-to-business media activities,” John S. Suhler, president and co-CEO of Veronis Suhler Stevenson, said in a statement.
