Penton rebrands ‘Occupational Hazards’ as ‘EHS Today’

New York—Penton Media is rebranding Occupational Hazards, a publication serving the occupational safety and health market, as EHS Today, effective with the November issue. EHS stands for environment, health and safety.

The publication has also launched a new Web site,, providing comprehensive coverage of environment, health and safety topics. “Yesterday’s safety manager is today often a generalist charged with responsibilities including safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance and sustainability,” Steve Minter, the magazine’s publisher and editorial director, said in a statement explaining the name change.
