Postal Service debuts revamped direct mail website

Washington, D.C.—The U.S. Postal Service has revamped its direct mail website, with a simplified layout, new apps for smartphones and an array of case studies and best-practice tips.

The site, Deliver, is the online complement of the Postal Service's print magazine of the same name. It now offers e-mail updates on Postal Service features and “direct marketing 101” for businesses interested in learning the basics.

There are also three new business forums: Brag Room and Success Stories allow marketers to share successful case studies, and Talking Heads enables marketers to upload suggestions that “are so crazy they just might work,” according to the Postal Service.

The Postal Service said the new interactive features represent a shift in emphasis toward better serving small and midsize companies.
