New York—The Public Relations Society of America has launched an initiative, called “Public Relations Defined,” with the goal of gaining consensus on the definition and role of public relations. The online campaign is being spearheaded by the PRSA, as well as partners including the Institute for Public Relations, International Association of Business Communicators and Word of Mouth Marketing Association.
