Primedia launches Web site for local market data

Overland Park, Kan.—Primedia Business Magazines & Media has launched, an online tool for marketing executives looking for local market data, buying influences and demographic and economic information. The data available on the map-based includes: electrical product sales data from MetroCast; population, housing and employment statistics; building permit information; and market area maps. The product features a partnership with Distribution Information Services Corp. to provide the MetroCast database.
